Official Festo type reference: QSML-M5-4 (Festo QSM mini-series push-in L-fitting; Part No. 153333)
The Festo Instant Male Elbow QSML-4-M5 is a compact 90-degree pneumatic L-fitting that connects 4 mm outside-diameter tubing to an M5 male threaded port. Its right-angle geometry is useful where tubing needs to turn immediately at the component connection, helping reduce routing space in compact pneumatic assemblies. The current Festo type designation is QSML-M5-4; this listing uses the commonly presented 4-M5 naming.

Key features and benefits
· 90-degree layout for efficient tubing direction changes.
· M5 male thread with sealing ring supports direct component mounting.
· 4 mm push-in port provides quick tube installation.
· External hexagon supports controlled tightening.
· Very compact mini-series form factor for dense pneumatic layouts.
Typical applications
· Compact pneumatic valves
· Small actuators and cylinders
· Automation sensors and controls
· Manifold connections
· Industrial pneumatic machinery
Installation and handling
· Use clean, correctly sized pneumatic tubing with a square, burr-free cut.
· Push the tube fully into the fitting until it reaches the internal stop, then perform a gentle pull check.
· For removal, depress the blue release ring and withdraw the tube carefully.
· Use the specified thread/sealing arrangement and tighten to the applicable Festo nominal torque; do not overtighten.
· Confirm compatibility of the fitting, tubing, pressure, temperature and working medium before commissioning.
